About Julie
I have been a resident of Far West Texas since 2007 and started my private practice in 2022 to serve my local community. “Local” means the folks who need help with legal problems in the Far West Texas region of Texas: Alpine, Presidio, Marfa, Terlingua, Marathon, Sanderson, Pecos, Fort Stockton, Fort Davis, and Van Horn. Basically, I cover the same region as Marfa Public Radio.
I graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1999 and spent 21 years as a legal aid lawyer. I remain committed to access to justice.
About Isabel
Isabel joined the firm at the start of 2024. An experienced legal assistant, she is fluent in English and Spanish. She spent her formative years in Juarez and El Paso but calls the Trans-Pecos her home. She holds her Bachelor of Arts from Sul Ross State University where she obtained a degree in General Studies with a minor in Psychology.
Isabel is very involved with the Far West Texas community. She is a master naturalist, supporter of the arts, and active volunteer with local nonprofits including the Food Pantry of Alpine and the Public Library.
